Can I just start off by saying, damn! Just imagine the work put into making the garden look how it looks. They made sure that there are little details that only few people notice. For example the sidewalk art is leading everyone to the gardens. Its in the middle of everything so it really stands out in downtown Gatineau.
Think of all the work put in to maintaining all of the masterpieces. Having to water everything, pull weeds, top up water, pick up trash, etc. The amazing part is that all the work is done by volunteers. Every volunteer gets free merchandise which includes: a t-shirt, a hat, a thermos bottle and a lunch box.
Did you know it took $24.5 million to construct the garden! That's a pretty hefty bit of money for a garden, but I think it's worth it.

They put a lot of thought into making sure they included every historical Canadian event from the Quebec ships to the Canadian hockey players and much more. The Mosaic will be open for another couple months, until October 15th, 2017.
